Why do you think the story you chose was largely ignored by the mainstream media?
Truth Emergency US

In this short article, health care is being ignored because; American is focusing on other issues that is too important than our own health. They are dealing with “9/11 truth, election fraud, impeachment, war propaganda, civil liberties/torture, and many corporate-caused environmental crises” than health itself. But in reality health care is a major crisis in American. Not everyone is cover by health insurance or have insurance. Why is it that other countries are able to have FREE health insurance, and the US can not afford it? People who cannot afford health insurance will be in debts, take loans, rob a bank, go homeless, or take their own life because they are just tired of seeing the bills. One of the movies that best describe US health insurance is “SICKO.” It compares other countries to American health care system. I think that this is largely ignored by the mainstream media because our government does not want to deal with us “uninsured people” who is asking for help. They would rather used the money they receive for their own pleasure, than to help us. An example was the governor of NY who spent over $1 Million dollars for his won pleasure. Why couldn’t he spent it on saving lives or helping the less fortunes. It is ignored because the government does not want to deal with the large numbers of uninsured people, and complains of request assistance for health care.

I never realized how other countries get free health insurance. That is crazy. The United States should do something to help those who cannot afford insurance. After all, we pay so many taxes. Some of that money should go to helping people receive health care. I think that health care is too expensive and if the government is not willing to give free health insurance, then they should at least make it affordable for ALL Americans.

Health care is definitley a frustrating subject. It is no longer health CARE it has become a buisness. I think it is beyond ridiculous that some are considered "high risk" so they are uninsurable. Also, pre-existing conditions. When someone is honest with their medical history they are at times penalized financially and have to pay for their care. Isn't that why we pay co-pays and a monthly payment?
